Employees that come to work under the influence of drugs are putting everyone at risk because they might not be in the right frame of mind that would allow them to operate the heavy equipment and vehicles safely. 2. Do you spend a lot of money on employee turnover?
If you find that you spend a lot of money on hiring and training new employees because you cannot retain your old employees, then you might need to consider screening the employees that you are trying to hire for drug use. The reason for this is that drug use can be under control when you interview and hire an employee, but then become a problem in a few months. To avoid having to fire employees that develop drug problems, you might want to consider screening employees to see if they use drugs at all before hiring them.
